So this past Tuesday, my first college course started. I still have trigonometry to finish before summer's end, and I have a CLEP test to try to squeeze in, too. I don't have as much free time anymore, and some things need to get cut. So... I can't say when I'll log in here again. I still have an art trade to finish and upload someday, but I don't know when that'll happen.
I'll pop in here when I can and try to reply to messages in less than a month, but if I don't post to your art or journal, I'm not trying to be stingy or distant. I'm just working out time management. @_@;

I'm sorry I haven't caught up on DeviantWatching, guys! DX I'm not grumpily ignoring y'all, I promise.
This has been on my to-do list, so here it is. I don't think I have 20 active watchers, but it looked really fun.And I posted on Topaz's anyway and so am obligated.

It's hilarious how well the two blend, isn't it? State rules. Spew five facts about yourself. Some part of my brain wonders if somebody did this on purpose.

1) My siblings at times describe me as being not merely "like a boss", but "like a ZELDA boss".I am pretty awesome. I have the best siblings ever.
2) The study of chemistry is my kryptonite. I hate it so much. It has the incredible power to reduce me to (frustrated) tears.
3) I poke fun at myself--a lot. My weight, skills, emotions, everything. Even my indecipherable sense of humor. (lol u c wut i did thar? Oh I be clever.) I don't even mean anything by it, it just amuses me.
4) Bad grammar bothers me more than bad language. I'll see the comment "So much [effing] drugs" and be annoyed the person didn't say "So many".
5) My home internet is less than epic. I have a 5 GB monthly data allowance (which covers the whole house, so it's not all mine), so any videos and much of my DA-browsing I do during my 1-2 hour visits to the library every week. (In addition to getting beloved books. I should live in a library. ;w; )

I don't have one. (Or a license.) I have driven a bit (off public roads), and last time I did that I was in a Jeep of some kind. (Cherokee or Laredo, I forget which.)

No. But recently I have come to believe the red part of Pizza Hut's logo is supposed to be a roof, and not just a random funky hat. (I'm a genius, I know.)
5) What is your favorite song?

I can't name just one. ;__; Two less-than-random songs that have moved me, however, are Josh Groban's "When You Say You Love Me" (amgamgalsjdf how did I live without hearing of this guy until mere months ago) and Superchick's "Courage". Oh yesssssss. I like vanilla mixed with orange sherbet (if that particular combination counts), and mint choco chip.

I've never been in one.

Yes.

Yeah. I had some depression for a long time that only cleared up about a year ago.

I've skied, ice-skated, and swam, but never competitively. I played some organized soccer several years back, but wasn't very into it. Nowadays I walk pretty regularly.

I try. How well I succeed depends on who you ask and how well that person knows me.

I don't think everything happens for a significant reason, no. Sometimes you stub your toe because you misjudged where your foot was, and that's all there is to it. Sometimes the car breaks down. Sometimes that guy you like just got a girlfriend. Doesn't mean you should never drive again, or that you'll be single the rest of your life. Random bad stuff happens, random good stuff happens. Some things are meaningful, but if you put too much thought into every little thing that happens in your life, you'll go crazy.
71) What is the last thing you did before you went to bed last night?
Wrote in my diary to say I'd calmed down since my previous entry in my diary an hour or so earlier. Before that, I sketched.

Like I said, maybe my grandpa or a few friends I had once. Maybe.

I feel like I've answered this before... still shyness. Still certain aspects of my life.

Haven't had it in ages, and I never liked it much. I'll eat fortune cookies, but that's the only thing I can guarantee. I've had some of the General Tsao's chicken you can take home from the store and bake, if that counts. Some of that is strangely tasty.

Absolutely. The year, even.
79) Are you afraid of the dark?
Not at all. Sometimes I'll get anxious about what it hides, but not often and the feeling usually passes quickly.

No.

I can be. But like I said, I try not to.

I don't remember the last time I had white shoes, honestly. If I didn't wear them every day, I'm pretty sure I could keep them clean.

If you're asking me questions about myself, it's still personal, actually.

You'd have to define it to get a good answer. I think there are people who genuinely care about me, and will for years to come. I think some folks will also find romantic love that lasts a lifetime, though I'm not necessarily one of them. (Which I don't say to cut myself down or anything, but to keep things realistic.)

In some ways, yes. In others, I still have much to do.

I guess so. If it's warm and/or I'm away from home. I like getting out and about, whether into another building or the streets or the beach.

Not really.

Yes, if I can find the right guy. But I won't marry someone for the sake of being married or for having babies.

Writing. Chatting with friends. Drawing and getting good results. Having nothing to really worry about. Quality time with my siblings.

No, and I have no desire to. It's a bit too cold up there for me.

I don't think everything happens for a significant reason, no. Sometimes you stub your toe because you misjudged where your foot was, and that's all there is to it. Sometimes the car breaks down. Sometimes that guy you like just got a girlfriend. Doesn't mean you should never drive again, or that you'll be single the rest of your life. Random bad stuff happens, random good stuff happens. Some things are meaningful, but if you put too much thought into every little thing that happens in your life, you'll go crazy.

Wrote in my diary to say I'd calmed down since my previous entry in my diary an hour or so earlier. Before that, I sketched.

Absolutely. The year, even.

Not at all. Sometimes I'll get anxious about what it hides, but not often and the feeling usually passes quickly.

I don't remember the last time I had white shoes, honestly. If I didn't wear them every day, I'm pretty sure I could keep them clean.

You'd have to define it to get a good answer. I think there are people who genuinely care about me, and will for years to come. I think some folks will also find romantic love that lasts a lifetime, though I'm not necessarily one of them. (Which I don't say to cut myself down or anything, but to keep things realistic.)

In some ways, yes. In others, I still have much to do.

I guess so. If it's warm and/or I'm away from home. I like getting out and about, whether into another building or the streets or the beach.

Firstly, my old eraser has been lost. Let us all have a moment of silence for this helper that has gone long before his time. Now all my sketches look smudgy(er). :s
Second, I'm doing some commissions for my sister (which I plan on posting) and in payment she's going to let me sketch her in various poses. This, in theory, should help me improve my art. (Or at least, my skills in drawing skinny teenagers.) I'm planning some LoZ fanart as well. Look forward to it! Or not.
Out of curiosity, is January effecting anybody else's mood? I've been rather lethargic and cranky lately and it's extremely irksome. I've been trying to keep it from showing much, but if I bite, call me out on it.
Now, some questions for the more DA-savvy folks:
#1: I seem to have lost my "Watching" widget (similar to the "Watchers" or "Friends" widgets). Or... don't those exist? Assuming that they do, I can't find mine in my widget menu.
#2: How do I use italics, strikethroughs, bold, etc. in the notes under my deviations? I've seen people quote songs and other things in italics, as well as use strikethroughs where appropriate/amusing, and I can't figure out how to do it. Do I need to use Sta.sh?
